2018 Animal Care Conference Schedule Overview

Pre-Conference Workshop #1: Fundamentals of Animal Sheltering: The Shelter Medicine Track, of the Animal Care Conference (ACC), is hosting an exclusive Pre-Conference Workshop whose sessions focus in-depth on animal care practices based on current research, shelter experiences and outcomes. This day-long will emphasize best practices throughout shelter animal care with an aim to help prioritize what is most important and also what can be let go of to allow time to do what matters most. The sessions are specifically designed for: shelter veterinarians, RVTs, animal care managers and all staff with decision making and protocol development responsibilities. Pre-Conference Workshop #2: Field Services Case Studies Sessions: The Field Services Track, of the Animal Care Conference (ACC), is hosting an exclusive Pre-Conference Workshop and conference sessions that session tracks focus in-depth on complex criminal investigations. The Case Study Sessions are specifically designed for: Animal Cruelty Investigators, Humane Officers, Animal Control Officers, Prosecutors, Police/Sheriff Officers, Deputies and Detectives, as well as all Local, State, or Federal Agents/Officers responsible for investigating animal-related crimes.
